Asmoe Roc is a Malaysian-born graffiti writer defining his own identity through graffiti style writing. Born in Malacca & raised in Seremban, he started to splash walls with colour in the backyard of his house in 2011. Ever since, Asmoe Roc has been exploring and experimenting with multiple styles and elements, which he intricately crafts into his pieces, working to express his perspective & individual personality in the graffiti world.
Project Architect by profession, dedicated writer on the other hand, Asmoe Roc’s art form is heavily inspired by the amalgamation of hip-hop sub-culture and architectural prime elements, which can be seen on numerous walls all across the world. His style involves a consistent series of lines, intricate details & strong characters which are the reflection of him as a whole. Over the years, Asmoe Roc’s evolved art pieces have been featured in numerous blogs, media pages, and interviews.
Graffiti for him has no boundaries. It is about the culture, passion, dedication, and a powerful bond between local and global communities, all seeking to push limits and realise their own potential.
